Customized Training for Managers and Individual Contributors
On-site or teleclass training that assists employees to develop and practice the needed skills to thrive in the challenging 21st century work place. In addition to traditional career related topics, we also offer: Working Effectively in the Multi-Generational Workforce, Riding the Waves of Transition: A Change Management Course, and The Power of Balance. Courses are offered in 2, 4, or 8 hour formats. New courses are added or created as client needs dictate.
Transition Programs
Transition programs that enable employees to successfully move forward in their work lives. We offer three different programs: On-boarding of new employees; Re-engaging employees after a re-structuring; and Outplacement to insure a “graceful” exit for employees who are leaving the organization.
Consultation
Offered in the areas of career development, leadership development, succession planning, knowledge management, creating a strong multi-generational workplace, and mission, vision, and values creation/development.
Speaking
Offered in executive briefing or keynote formats. These are customized and blend practical tools and motivational messages, always making a clear connection between the individual and the work place.

Mark Guterman – Director
Mark has been a career and executive coach and consultant for 30 years, guiding organizations and individuals on how to thrive in the global work place. He is a Principal of MeaningfulCareers.com and is the Chief Coach and Trainer for Springboard Forward. Recently, he was Executive Coach for the Growth and Leadership Center and prior to that was Director of Professional Services for Lee Hecht Harrison. He is the author of Common Sense for Uncommon Times: The Power of Balance in Work, Family, and Personal Life, co-author of ValueSearch, and developer of many training and development programs used extensively by groups and organizations. Mark also teaches for John F. Kennedy University’s MA program in Career Development and is a frequent speaker to organizations and conferences throughout the United States, Europe, and Australia. Mark holds an MA in Counseling from Sonoma State University and a BA in History and Political Science from UCLA.

Steve Hernandez – Partner
Steve has been an executive recruiter specializing in the accounting and finance field since 1995. He has worked with a variety of Bay Area companies representing a wide range of industries that include banking, financial services, retail, consumer goods, and biotechnology. Steve incorporates a career development approach to the recruiting process, working closely with candidates on long term career planning, job search strategy, and transition management. Steve has also established a career development services practice at Alchemy. He holds a Master’s degree in Career Development from John F. Kennedy University.
